i’ve had the same hairstyle since freshman year of high school……so, today i decided to be brave and change it! i went to cutloose (westheimer & dunlavy) and my hairstylist (brandon) did a great job! the place itself had a really hip/trendy vibe. i appreciated that all the stylists had a very non-typical hairdresser look. they all had tatts and looked like really cool people to hang out with. they even played andrew bird’s music! how awesome is that? while i was getting my hair washed, this golden retriever came out of nowhere and propped his head onto my lap. haha…so unexpected.
as for brandon, he’s a dance music dj from deer park and collects kidrobot toys!

i’d definitely go back there again. i was really afraid to cut my hair short…but i really like it! and brandon didnt make it look too trendy either, i like that. (trendy as in fob/experimental hair)
ps- i know it’s not incredibly short but the length of my hair is usually halfway down my back..big change for meeeee. i feel like a new person!
